The association “I Difensori della Rocca” was founded on June 11th, 2001. In all these years it participated in hundreds of historical events in Italy and abroad.
Our objective is to popularize medieval culture in order to bring it within everyone’s reach.
We organize performances, in wich specialized groups often cooperate (archers, crossbowmen, masters of ancient crafts and musicians) helping us recreate the historical milieu.
In this way we engage spectators and Institutions in the cultural events.
During our performances our goal is to entice children’s and adults’ imagination, arousing in them interest and respect towards the courage and cleverness of medieval man, whom have laid the foundation of our times.
Our main target is to entertain while enjoying ourselves!
